"I have been running for over 40 years.  I have used every run of the mill sports watch and they were okay while I used them.  This past summer I bought a MIO Shape and thoroughly enjoy using it on my runs at noon to monitor my heart rate.  My running friends noticed the watch and ask how I liked it.  Several of the runners have heart-monitoring watches that required them to wear a contraption across their chest plus a watch.  When they saw how convenient the mioShape was they said they would consider buying one, as they didn’t like having to strap up like the “Six Million Dollar Man” every time they go out for a run.  I am now using the watch at a local gym here in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.  A lot of members have asked about the mioShape watch I use.  They ask if I have to wear a strap under my gym shirt and are amazed they there is no contraption to strap across your chest."
